The 1 alone lands on about two spins in five, and it is the cheapest bet on the wheel; the 10 and the Coin Flip share the same frequency, about one spin in thirteen.

What Each Bet Costs
Evolution publishes a return for each of the eight bets, and they are not the same. The headline figure quoted for the game, 96.08%, is the best of them and belongs to the number 1. The bonus bets, which are the reason most people play, return less.
From the player’s side the difference is the house edge: 3.92% of every stake on the 1, rising to 5.67% on Pachinko.
Over an evening of a hundred spins at a pound a spot, that is the difference between about £4 and about £6 expected cost per spot, before any Top Slot luck in either direction.
What to Take From That
- The number bets are cheaper than the bonus bets. If the aim is to stay at the wheel for an evening, the 1 and the 2 are the bets that do it at the lowest price.
- The bonus bets are the entertainment, priced accordingly. Nothing wrong with that, as long as the extra one to two per cent is understood as the ticket price for the round.
- Covering every spot does not change the price. Betting on all eight guarantees a result on every spin and costs the weighted average of the eight edges. It is the same wheel at the same price, spread across more chips.
- The Top Slot is already in the figures. The published returns include the multipliers it adds, so it is not a free extra on top of the odds; it is part of how the odds are built.
- Operators set their own payout cap. Evolution’s theoretical maximum is 20,000x a bet. The maximum your casino will actually pay in a round is printed in the game’s information panel, and it can be lower.
What the Stats Sites Show, and What They Cannot
Search for Crazy Time and much of what comes back is live results: the last hundred spins, how long since the last Crazy Time bonus, which segment is “hot”. It is accurate as history and useless as a forecast.
The wheel has no memory. A Crazy Time segment that has not landed in two hundred spins is not due; its chance on the next spin is one in 54, exactly as it was on the first.
A run of five 1s in a row happens about once every hundred spins, which is often enough that you will see one most evenings.
What a history of results can legitimately tell you is the pace: how many spins an hour the table is running and how long the bonus rounds take, which decides how much of an evening is spent waiting.
