The Verdict, Before the Detail
Unibet finishes 14th of the 15 UK casinos we rank. That understates two things it does better than almost anyone on our table: 500+ live tables, the second-largest live floor here, and a 97.00% payout rate, the third-highest we have seen published.
Debit card withdrawals are quoted inside a day, which very few casinos manage, and Revolut pays out instantly.
The weak points are elsewhere. There is no PayPal, Skrill or Neteller, the 300 welcome spins carry 10x wagering on their winnings, and the public reviews are poor.
Licence 45322, held by Platinum Gaming Limited. Checked on the Gambling Commission’s public register the week this review was written.
- 500+ live tables, including 297+ blackjack and 61+ game shows
- A 97.00% payout rate, among the highest published on our table
- Visa and Mastercard debit withdrawals quoted inside a day; Revolut pays out instantly
- £5 minimum deposit and £5 minimum withdrawal on most methods, with no fees either way
- A UK freephone number as well as 24/7 live chat
- No PayPal, Skrill or Neteller in either direction
- The 300 welcome spins carry 10x wagering on what they win, and must be used within 48 hours
- The welcome offer needs a £30 deposit, by debit card or instant bank transfer only
- Trustpilot sits at 1.3 out of 5, the kind of public score that needs reading before you deposit
- No loss limits among the account tools, and no email address for support

The Licence, on the Register
A pass or fail, and Unibet passes: the licence is current on the Gambling Commission’s own register, not merely claimed in the footer.
The brand dates from 1997 and has held its current UK licence since 2016; the account is held by Platinum Gaming Limited, with a London office. The company, the licence number and the small print are set out further down.
What the Games Return
97.00% across the site is near the top of the 15 casinos we rank: only BetMGM and Grosvenor publish more, and most publish 96%.
The game-by-game figures hold up: 99.60% on Blackjack Neo, 99.56% across the video poker and 98.00% on Blood Suckers. Keno and the scratchcards return far less, as they do everywhere.
What It Costs to Play
The £5 ceiling on a slot spin (£2 if you are 18 to 24) is the UK legal maximum and the same at every casino we rank.
The software tables run from 10p to £2,000 a hand. The live floor starts at 10p; Unibet publishes no ceiling for it, though its high-limit room, Salon Privé Baccarat, is there for the stakes that need one.
Getting Money Out
Inside a day to a Visa or Mastercard debit card or an instant bank transfer; instantly to Revolut; one to three days to Apple Pay, Google Pay or a standard bank transfer.
The card times are among the quickest on our table, where most casinos quote one to five days. Nothing is charged, and there is no cap on a single withdrawal. What each method costs and how long it takes is below.
The Phone Experience
The casino runs in a phone browser rather than through its own app: the apps listed under the Unibet name on both stores are its poker apps. What that means on a phone is further down.
The Games
4550+ games in total, of which 3980+ are slots. Read how the rest breaks down before you assume a big number means a big choice.
| Category | How many | Average RTP | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slots | 3980+ | 96.50% | Highest is Blood Suckers, at 98.00% |
| Jackpot games | 250+ | 96.50% | The biggest pot published is £10.5M; progressives return less than the base game |
| Roulette | 20+ | 97.30% | Three Wheel Roulette is the best of them |
| Blackjack | 10+ | 99.60% | 99.60% on Blackjack Neo |
| Baccarat | 5+ | 98.00% | Banker, Player and Tie; our guide has what each one costs |
| Video poker | 20+ | 99.56% | Full-pay tables only; our video poker page explains why the paytable matters |
| All table games | 70+ | 99.60% | Includes 1+ casino poker variants |
| Live tables | 500+ | – | 297+ blackjack, 56+ roulette, 61+ game shows |
The Jackpot Exception
The 250+ jackpot games return 96.50% on average, and the headline progressive, 9 Masks of Fire King Millions, is listed at 92.50%.
That is not unique to Unibet: every progressive works this way, because the pot is funded out of the base game. The same applies, more sharply, to the keno games at 91.00% and the scratchcards at 90.00%.
Stakes, from the Smallest to the Largest
Unibet publishes its table limits. These are the ones that matter.
| Slots | £0.01 – £5 |
|---|---|
| Roulette | £0.10 – £2,000 |
| Blackjack | £1 – £2,000 |
| Baccarat | £0.10 – £2,000 |
Slots are capped at £5 a spin (£2 if you are 18 to 24) at every UK-licensed casino since 2025, so this is not a Unibet decision.
The tables are not capped the same way. The live floor starts at 10p, with Mega Ball the cheapest seat Unibet points to; it publishes no maximum for the live tables, so check the limits on the table itself.
The Welcome Offer
Unibet’s casino offer is 300 Free Spins on Big Bass Splash. Opt in, deposit at least £30 by debit card or instant bank transfer, and stake £30 on slots within seven days.
Read the small print before you opt in. The 300 spins are worth 10p each, £30 in all, and what they win carries 10x wagering before it can be withdrawn. That is the UK maximum, and it is what separates this offer from the cash-paying spins higher up our table.
Slots count 100% towards it, roulette and blackjack 10%, and live games nothing. The spins themselves must be used within 48 hours, and the winnings wagered within 30 days.
Apple Pay, PayPal and e-wallet deposits do not qualify, so pay by debit card or instant bank transfer if you want the offer.
Unibet also runs a sportsbook, a poker room and bingo, each with its own sign-up offer. Those are separate promotions, opted into separately.
Paying in and Getting Paid
Seven ways in and seven ways out, with no fees in either direction. The debit cards and Revolut are the quick routes out; Apple Pay, Google Pay and a standard bank transfer take one to three days.
| Method | Paying in | Getting paid | Minimum | Most per deposit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visa debit | Instant | Up to 1 day | £5 | £10,000 |
| Mastercard debit | Instant | Up to 1 day | £5 | £10,000 |
| Apple Pay | Instant | 1-3 days | £5 | £10,000 |
| Google Pay | Instant | 1-3 days | £5 | Not Listed |
| Trustly | Instant | Deposit only | £10 | Not Listed |
| Bank transfer | 1-3 days | 1-3 days | Not published | Not Listed |
| Revolut | Instant | Instant | £5 | £10,000 |
Money goes back the way it came in, from a £5 minimum, with no cap on a single withdrawal and a daily ceiling of £50,000. Trustly is deposit only; withdrawals by instant bank transfer are quoted inside a day.
What is missing is the e-wallets. There is no PayPal, Skrill or Neteller, which most of our table offers, and Apple Pay deposits do not count towards the welcome offer.
One thing to know: under a 2019 rule Unibet verifies your name, address and date of birth before you can gamble, which it quotes at 12 to 48 hours. Extra checks at withdrawal are only allowed for things it could not have asked for earlier.
Credit cards cannot be used for gambling anywhere in Britain. That has been the rule since April 2020, and it is not a Unibet policy. Any Visa or Mastercard option above is debit only.
Who Makes the Games
Dozens of studios supply the slots, and four supply the live floor. The names matter more than the count: they are what decides whether the games you already like are here.
- Pragmatic Play: Gates of Olympus, Sweet Bonanza and the Big Bass family, including Big Bass Splash for the welcome spins
- NetEnt and Red Tiger: Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest and Blood Suckers, the highest-paying slot Unibet lists
- Play’n GO: Book of Dead and Reactoonz
- Big Time Gaming, Relax Gaming and Push Gaming: the Megaways titles, Money Train and Jammin’ Jars
- Blueprint Gaming, Eyecon and Yggdrasil: Fishin’ Frenzy, Fluffy Favourites and the rest of the familiar names
- Evolution: the bulk of the 500+ live tables, with Pragmatic Play Live, Stakelogic and On Air alongside
On a Phone
There is no Unibet casino app on our list: the Unibet apps on the App Store and Google Play are for its poker room, and that is a different product. The casino is played in a phone browser.
That works better than it sounds. The lobby, the live tables, the cashier and the account limits all run in Safari or Chrome with nothing to install, and the sign-in is the same one the sportsbook and the poker room use.
If an app matters to you, Virgin Games, Midnite and Mr Vegas have the best-rated ones on our table.
Getting Started
Five steps, in the order that saves the most time. None of them takes five minutes.
Check the Licence Yourself
Search 45322 on the Gambling Commission’s public register. The account belongs to Platinum Gaming Limited, and the casino line should read Active. Thirty seconds, and it is the one check no review can do on your behalf.
Register, Opt In, and Verify the Same Day
The welcome spins need an opt-in within seven days of registering, and Unibet has to check who you are before you can gamble, so upload the documents while you are signing up.
Photograph a passport or driving licence, and a bank statement or utility bill dated inside the last three months. Unibet quotes 12 to 48 hours; left until later, the same check delays your first withdrawal.
Set the Deposit Limit Before the First Deposit
Account settings, then the limit you want: daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits, reality checks, and a time-out of up to six months.
A lower limit takes effect the moment you set it; a higher one cannot, because every UK licensee has to wait before more money can go in. Self-exclusion runs from six months to five years.
Pay by Debit Card If You Want the Spins
Deposit £30 by debit card or instant bank transfer and stake it on slots. Apple Pay and e-wallets do not qualify.
Use the 300 spins inside 48 hours, then expect to play their winnings through ten times before they can be withdrawn. If that does not suit you, skip the offer.
Withdraw to a Debit Card or Revolut
Card withdrawals are quoted inside a day and Revolut pays out instantly; Apple Pay, Google Pay and a standard bank transfer take one to three days.
Money goes back the way it came in, so if speed on the way out matters to you, pay in with the card in the first place.

If Something Goes Wrong
- First, the casino
- Live chat or the phone line. Under the rules every UK licensee works to, it has eight weeks to settle a complaint.
- Then, an adjudicator
- An independent adjudicator (ADR provider) decides disputes Unibet cannot settle. It is independent of the casino and free to the player.
- Independently checked by
- eCOGRA
- Shutting yourself out
- GamCare, GAMSTOP. GAMSTOP blocks every UK-licensed site at once, not just this one
Public opinion is the weak spot. Unibet scores 1.3 out of 5 on Trustpilot, and most of what is written there is about the sportsbook, account checks and withdrawal holds rather than the casino games.
A brand this big collects more complaints than a small one by having had more customers, and the register entry and the tools in the account weigh more with us than the review score.
It is still worth reading before you deposit, because the pattern it describes, a withdrawal held pending documents, is the one you can avoid by verifying on day one.
If Unibet Is Not the One
Or start from the top: our full ranking of 15 UK casinos puts every one of them side by side on the same five checks used above.
In Short
Unibet is a big, well-run casino with 500+ live tables, a 97.00% payout rate, card withdrawals inside a day and a UK phone line, which is more than most of the casinos above it can say.
What keeps it near the bottom of our ranking is specific: no PayPal or e-wallets, 10x wagering on the welcome spins, no casino app, and a Trustpilot score of 1.3.
If you play live and pay by debit card, most of that does not touch you.
