The Verdict, Before the Detail
Midnite finishes 1st of the 15 UK casinos we rank, and it gets there on the things this site actually measures.
Those are a welcome offer with no wagering attached to the spins, five payment methods that all work in both directions, a live floor of 170+ tables, and a licence that is current on the register.
The site started life in 2015 as a sportsbook built around esports, and the casino that grew beside it is now the better half.
Licence 42647, held by Dribble Media Limited since May 2023. Checked on the Gambling Commission’s public register the week this review was written.
- 100 free spins with no wagering on the winnings: what you win from them is cash
- 170+ live tables from Evolution, Pragmatic Play and Stakelogic, with blackjack to £10,000 a hand
- Every deposit method also pays out, from a £5 minimum with no stated ceiling
- Live chat 24/7 with a stated reply inside five minutes, plus email
- Deposit, loss and spending limits, time-outs and self-exclusion up to five years, all in the account
- A 96.00% payout rate is the middle of our table, not the top of it
- Card withdrawals are quoted at one to five days; Apple Pay and Google Pay are quicker
- The offer needs a £20 deposit and £20 of play, four times the site’s own minimum deposit
- The jackpot range returns 94.01% on average, the weakest category on the site
- No published phone number; contact is chat, email or the help centre

The Licence, on the Register
A pass or fail, and Midnite passes: the licence is current on the Gambling Commission’s own register, not merely claimed in the footer.
It is a younger licence than most on our table, issued in May 2023 to the London company behind the brand. The company, the licence number and the small print are set out further down.
What the Games Return
96.00% across the site is the middle of the 15 casinos we rank, and it is the one place Midnite does not lead.
The published figures game by game are better than the average suggests: 99.59% on Blackjack Classic, 99.00% on Book of 99. It loses ground to the jackpot range, which is where the average goes.
What It Costs to Play
The £5 ceiling on a slot spin (£2 if you are 18 to 24) is the UK legal maximum and the same at every casino we rank.
The tables are where Midnite is unusual: blackjack to £5,000 a hand on the software tables and £10,000 live, which is a high-roller range at a site that also takes a penny a spin.
Getting Money Out
One to three days to Apple Pay or Google Pay, one to five to a card or Trustly. The slower end of that is behind the quickest casinos we rank, and none of them promises same-day payouts. What each method costs and how long it takes is below.
The Phone Experience
One app on each store, both rated above four, and nothing between them that would make us send you to the browser instead. The two apps side by side are further down.
The Games
1800+ games in total, of which 1600+ are slots. Read how the rest breaks down before you assume a big number means a big choice.
| Category | How many | Average RTP | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slots | 1600+ | 96.00% | Highest is Book of 99, at 99.00% |
| Jackpot games | 50+ | 94.01% | Biggest pot listed: £72K |
| Roulette | 40+ | 97.30% | Turbo Roulette is the best of them |
| Blackjack | 25+ | 99.59% | 99.59% on Blackjack Classic |
| Baccarat | 10+ | 98.94% | Banker, Player and Tie; our guide has what each one costs |
| All table games | 75+ | 99.59% | Includes video poker at 99.92%, the highest return on the site |
| Live tables | 170+ | – | 70+ blackjack, 60+ roulette, 30+ game shows |
The Jackpot Exception
The game Midnite puts at the front of its jackpot range is Fishin' Frenzy Jackpot King, and it returns 93.81%. The site average is 96.00%.
On a £100 stake spread over a session that difference is real money, and it is the one number on this page that is materially worse than the field.
That is not unique to Midnite: every progressive works this way, because the pot is funded out of the base game. We point it out because the jackpot games get the loudest promotion and the least attention paid to their RTP, here and everywhere else.
Stakes, from the Smallest to the Largest
Midnite publishes its table limits. These are the ones that matter.
| Slots | £0.01 – £5 |
|---|---|
| Roulette | £0.01 – £1,000 |
| Blackjack | £0.50 – £5,000 |
| Baccarat | £1 – £5,000 |
| Live tables | £0.01 – £20,000 |
Slots are capped at £5 a spin (£2 if you are 18 to 24) at every UK-licensed casino since 2025, so this is not a Midnite decision.
The tables are not capped the same way: live roulette runs to £20,000 a spin and live blackjack to £10,000 a hand, which is why the site lists itself as a high-roller casino as well as a penny one.
The Welcome Offer
Midnite’s casino offer is bet £20, get 100 free spins on Big Bass Splash. It is a wager-based offer, not a deposit match: you deposit at least £20 with the code BETGETCASINO, stake £20 of your own money on eligible games within 14 days, and the spins follow.
Read the small print before you opt in, because for once it is in your favour. The spins are worth 10p each, £10 in total, and what they win is wager-free: it is paid as cash, not as bonus funds with a multiple attached.
The £20 you stake to qualify is your own money and carries no wagering of its own beyond the one pass through the games. The spins expire seven days after they are credited.
Midnite also runs two sports welcome offers (£30 in free bets after a £10 bet at odds of 2.00 or better, and £20 in horse racing free bets plus 50 spins after £10 on four-leg accumulators).
They are sportsbook promotions, not casino ones, and the free bet stake is not returned with your winnings.
Paying in and Getting Paid
Five ways in, and the same five ways out: the casino charges nothing on any of them, and nothing you can deposit with is a dead end at withdrawal. The two wallets are the quick route.
| Method | Paying in | Getting paid | Minimum | Most per deposit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visa debit | Instant | 1 - 5 days | £5 | £5,000 |
| Mastercard debit | Instant | 1 - 5 days | £5 | £5,000 |
| Apple Pay | Instant | 1 - 3 days | £5 | £5,000 |
| Google Pay | Instant | 1 - 3 days | £5 | £5,000 |
| Trustly | Instant | 1 - 5 days | £5 | £5,000 |
Money goes back the way it came in, from a £5 minimum, and nothing on the way out has a stated ceiling; the last column is the most you can put in per deposit, not the most you can take out.
One thing to know: under a 2019 rule Midnite verifies your name, address and date of birth before you can gamble, which it quotes at one to 24 hours, and extra checks at withdrawal are only allowed for things it could not have asked for earlier.
Credit cards cannot be used for gambling anywhere in Britain. That has been the rule since April 2020, and it is not a Midnite policy. The Visa and Mastercard options above are debit only.
Who Makes the Games
Close to fifty studios supply the slots, and three supply the live floor. The names matter more than the count: they are what decides whether the games you already like are here.
- Pragmatic Play: the Big Bass family the welcome spins are played on, Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza
- Play’n GO: Book of Dead and Reactoonz
- Big Time Gaming and Relax Gaming: the Megaways titles and Money Train
- Hacksaw Gaming and Nolimit City: the higher-volatility end, Wanted Dead or a Wild and San Quentin among them
- Blueprint Gaming: Fishin’ Frenzy and the Jackpot King range
- NetEnt, Red Tiger, Thunderkick, Light & Wonder: the rest of the headline names
- Evolution: the bulk of the 170+ live tables, with Pragmatic Play Live and Stakelogic alongside
On a Phone
Midnite was built phone-first, as a sportsbook for people betting on esports from the sofa, and the casino inherited that.
There is one app on each store, and for once the two are close: both are rated above four, and neither has the kind of complaint pattern that would make us send you to the browser instead. The casino lobby sits behind the same sign-in as the sportsbook, so one account covers both.
The mobile site is the fallback on either phone: the same account and the same games in a browser, with nothing to install. The table below has what each version costs you in space and what it needs to run.
| iPhone and iPad | Android | |
|---|---|---|
| Store rating | 4.70 | 4.30 |
| Size | 115.4 MB | 106.8 MB |
| Needs | iOS 16.0 or later | Android 8.0 or later |
The gap between the two is small enough to ignore. Both apps carry the sportsbook as well as the casino, so the download is bigger than a casino-only app would be, and both need a phone from the last few years: iOS 16 or Android 8 at the oldest.
Getting Started
Five steps, in the order that saves the most time. None of them takes five minutes.
Check the licence yourself
Search 42647 on the Gambling Commission’s public register. The account belongs to Dribble Media Limited, and the casino line should read Active, from 15 May 2023, to Current. Thirty seconds, and it is the one check no review can do on your behalf.
Register with the code, and verify the same day
The casino offer needs the code BETGETCASINO at registration, and Midnite has to check who you are before you can gamble, so upload the documents while you are signing up. Photograph a passport or driving licence, and a bank statement or utility bill dated inside the last three months. Midnite quotes one to 24 hours for the check; left until later, the same check delays your first withdrawal.
Set the deposit limit before the first deposit
Account settings, then the limit you want: Midnite offers deposit, loss and spending limits. A lower limit takes effect the moment you set it; a higher one cannot, because every UK licensee has to wait and ask you again before more money can go in. Time-outs run from one to 30 days, and self-exclusion from six months to five years, in the same place.
Price the welcome offer before you opt in
Deposit £20, stake £20 on eligible games, get 100 spins on Big Bass Splash at 10p each. The £20 of stakes at the site’s 96.00% average return costs around 80p in expected losses, and that is the price of £10 of spins whose winnings are paid as cash. It is the best-priced casino offer in our table; the only way to lose on it is to stake more than the £20 because the offer put you in the mood.
Pick the wallet, not the card, for the way out
Apple Pay and Google Pay withdrawals are quoted at one to three days; a card or Trustly at one to five. Money goes back the way it came in, so if speed on the way out matters to you, pay in with the wallet in the first place.

If something goes wrong
- First, the casino
- Live chat or support@midnite.com. Under the rules every UK licensee works to, it has eight weeks to settle a complaint.
- Then, an adjudicator
- I.B.A.S. decides disputes Midnite cannot settle. It is independent of the casino and free to the player, and its ruling binds the casino for awards up to £10,000, not you.

- Shutting yourself out
- GamCare, GAMSTOP. GAMSTOP blocks every UK-licensed site at once, not just this one
The licence is the newest on our table, and that cuts both ways.
There is no long record of complaints to read, which is a good sign in itself; there is also no long record of anything else, which is why we weight the register entry and the tools in the account more heavily than the brand’s age.
If Midnite Is Not the One
Or start from the top: our full ranking of 15 UK casinos puts every one of them side by side on the same five checks used above.
In Short
Midnite is the casino we rank first, and the reasons are specific: a welcome offer whose spin winnings are cash rather than bonus funds, five payment methods that all pay out, a live floor of 170+ tables with real high-limit seats, and a licence that is current on the register.
What it is not is the best-paying casino on the table: 96.00% is average, and the jackpot range is below that. If the return on the games is the only number you care about, look further down our ranking for a higher one. For everything else, start here.
