Playzee finishes 8th of the 15 UK casinos we rank. It is a competent mid-table casino with one thing the field cannot match, an identity check quoted at one to two hours, and two things that keep it out of the top half.

The first is the return: 94.45% across the site is the second lowest payout rate we list, against 96.00% at most of the table. The second is the welcome offer, a 100% match capped at £25, the smallest headline figure among our fifteen.

What it does well is the plumbing. Nine deposit methods, every one of which pays back out from a £10 minimum, wallets in one to two days, live chat answered in five minutes, and the full set of account limits.

The Licence, on the Register

A pass or fail, and Playzee passes: the licence is current on the Gambling Commission’s own register, not merely claimed in the footer.

It belongs to White Hat Gaming, a Malta platform company that runs several UK brands on the same licence. The company, the licence number and the small print are set out further down.

What the Games Return

94.45% across the site is the second lowest payout rate of the 15 casinos we rank, and it is the figure that costs Playzee the most places.

The published figures by game type are ordinary rather than poor: 99.60% on blackjack, 97.30% on roulette, 96.00% on slots. The casino-wide number is lower than those because of what players choose, and a blackjack player here gets the same return as at any casino on our table.

Playzee publishes no baccarat or table-game counts, so the table above is shorter than most of our reviews. The categories it does publish return the same as the field: 99.60% on blackjack is the standard figure, and so is 97.30% on a single-zero wheel.

The casino-wide 94.45% is lower than any of those because the number is what players actually staked and won back, not what the games are built to return. Read it as a description of the lobby’s habits, not of the game in front of you, and choose the game accordingly.

Stakes, from the Smallest to the Largest

Slots are capped at £5 a spin (£2 if you are 18 to 24) at every UK-licensed casino since 2025, so this is not a Playzee decision.

The tables are not capped the same way: live blackjack runs to £20,000 a hand and live roulette to £10,000 a spin, among the highest ceilings on our table, from ten pence at the bottom.

The Welcome Offer

Playzee’s casino offer is a 100% deposit match up to £25, plus 500 Zee Points. Deposit at least £20 and select the offer in the cashier, and the same amount comes back as bonus funds, up to £25.

Read the small print before you opt in. The bonus carries 10x wagering, the UK maximum: £250 of play on the full £25 before it can be withdrawn. Slots count 100% and live games 0%, so it is a slots offer in practice.

The maximum stake with bonus funds is £5.00, the funds expire after 7 days, and the offer has to be claimed within 30 days of registering. Verification must be complete before the bonus is paid.

Priced at the site’s average return, £250 of wagering costs about £14 in expected losses to free £25 of bonus.

That is a fair rate, and the Zee Points carry on after the offer: every later deposit earns points worth 100% of its value, which is the better half of the deal.

Paying in and Getting Paid

Nine ways in and nine ways out, which is the widest payments list after Coral: even Paysafecard and Neosurf pay back. The wallets are the quick route; the bank transfer is the one to avoid for speed.

Money goes back the way it came in, from a £10 minimum with no stated ceiling and no fee on any method; the last column is the most you can put in per deposit, not the most you can take out.

One thing to know: under a 2019 rule Playzee verifies your name, address and date of birth before you can gamble, which it quotes at one to two hours, the quickest figure on our table.

Extra checks at withdrawal are only allowed for things it could not have asked for earlier.
